Opening for ZCRAVE at NYFW

Wow, what an exhilarating experience! I’m beyond thrilled to share the inside scoop on what it was like to open ZCRAVE’s runway show for #NYFW #SS2024. This has been one of the most significant highlights of my modeling career, and I can’t wait to take you behind the scenes of such an incredible event.

Only a few days of preparation boiled down to this moment. The hustle, the fittings, and the rehearsals all built up to an electrifying crescendo. ZCRAVE, renowned for its cutting-edge designs and fearless fashion statements, was about to debut its Spring/Summer 2024 collection, and I had the honor of opening the the runway show with a contemporary dance. The anticipation was palpable in the air; it was like butterflies and adrenaline made a cocktail in my veins.

BTS was a whirlwind – racks of exquisite garments, makeup artists dashing back and forth with palettes of bold and subtle hues, and hairstylists crafting looks that were nothing short of art. I watched as models slipped into their first ensembles, the room dizzy with energy and excitement. My heart raced as the final touches were applied to my look – a stunning piece epitomizing ZCRAVE's avant-garde essence coupled with its spectacular blend of haute couture and ready-to-wear aesthetics.

ZCRAVE’s founder, Hila Shtork Zigdon’s vision extended beyond the clothes. The makeup artists accentuated natural beauty with glowing skin, bold eyes, and understated lips that made a statement. My look featured a dewy foundation, elegant winged eyeliner, and a rich nude lip that commanded attention. The hair team sculpted a high-fashion ponytail that echoed the strength and sophistication of the clothes, the perfect confident 'do to kick off the show.

Then the moment came. As the first notes of the music pounded through the speakers, signaling the show’s start, I moved into position. The adrenaline was like a tidal wave, my body buzzing as I prepared to step onto the runway. I felt powerful and liberated.

The audience's energy was intoxicating, their eyes glued to the dance that would set the tone for ZCRAVE’s bold and eclectic collection. My dance embodied the fearless spirit of the collection – every step dripping with confidence and style, each glance a testament to the creative genius behind the designs.

As the show concluded and the models made their finale walk, a wave of accomplishment washed over me. Backstage was a flurry of high-fives, enthusiastic hugs, and celebratory chatter. We had done it!

Opening ZCRAVE’s runway show was not only a testament to the team’s hard work but also a milestone in my journey as a model. It’s a powerful reminder of the magic that happens when creativity, passion, and perseverance come together. I am eternally grateful to the ZCRAVE team for believing in me and to everyone who has supported me throughout my career -especially mom.
